Setup and register guide

Perkday's first release is for USD Shopify POS stores using tax-exclusive pricing.

1. Install and approve the plan

Install Perkday through Shopify, review the requested permissions, and select a plan in Shopify's pricing flow. Perkday opens embedded in Shopify Admin; never enter your shop domain into an unrelated website.

2. Review the program

Confirm the point name, earning rate, and expiration period. The first release redeems 100 points for one US dollar. New settings take effect prospectively so prior purchases and refunds retain their original rules.

3. Add the POS tile

In Shopify POS, add the Perkday Rewards tile to each register that will use the program. Repeat this step for every device and staff layout that needs the action.

4. Run a small test

Attach a test customer, complete a small eligible sale, and confirm the balance in POS and Shopify Admin. Then apply a small reward to a new cart, complete the sale, and verify the updated balance. Refund the test sale and confirm the earned points reverse.

5. Know the first-release limits

• Only eligible in-person merchandise earns points.
• Tax, shipping, tips, gift cards, and online orders are excluded.
• Reward discounts can combine with eligible order and product discounts, but not shipping discounts.
• Interrupted redemptions can require staff review before release.
• Cash refunds do not automatically restore redeemed rewards.
